Description
After several years spent in the production of wines in various regions of France and the world, and a few beers made as an amateur in the family kitchen, during winemaking in 2006 in the United States Emmanuel Rey discovered the extent of the micro brewery phenomenon. in this country.

We are in December 2006. Everything is quickly linked: an internship at the Brasserie Sancerroise in July 2007 to discover “real size” brewing, a training course at the IFBM in Nancy and numerous tests in the family kitchen to highlight point the recipes. At the same time, the search for the place of installation was carried out with the help of the Regional Natural Park of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse and a place was quickly found near the town of Bonnelles. The project is finally launched!

Bottle from Anna from France. A powerful and smooth enough imperial. Quite rough palate with coffee notes. Boozy.

It is a decent IPA, copper color, thin foam, average carbonation, hop, cereal, bitterness, alcohol, overall well balanced, 22.08.16, tasting it at Lausanne, Prélaz, buying it at the bio carrefour, next to Paris Gare de Lyon.

It is a classical beer coming from the Belgian school. The taste is like a leffe blonde without this sugar, malty, a bit bitter and boring, 05.05.2016, buying it at the Carrefour Bio Market, next to Paris Gare de Lyon.

Bottle pour @ Thiriez Hop Fest 2024. Pours a thick, unclear deep purple with little head remaining. Aroma of juicy pulpy dark red berry, red grape. Full juicy red grape profile, full bodied with not much carbonation happening, smooth palate. The absence of distinct hop or malt flavours in addition to the pulpy grape means I can't really attach a particular beer style to it besides 'grape ale'. A little strange, but certainly fruity enough.

On tap at La Robe & La Mousse. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy sweet grains and some date with a torch of fruits and bread supporting. Flavor has bread and light dates with a bit of flora and sweet grain backing.

Gushing to finally small, just off-white head, fed by fine if lively carbonation in veiled copperish beer with a mossy sheen. Rainwater, bananaester, bit of rosewater. Sweet and spicy-herbal. Hint of lavender retronasal, cucumber, and again some not-quite-ripe banana. Light body if slick. Good carbonation. 8% seems a bit high for the feel & taste. Oh well. New brewery, new tick. Txs to Stef!
