Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading A bright golden brown with a thin white head, fresh grassy aroma. Not a complicated pint, the taste is overwhelmingly of a hoppy bitterness which lingers pleasantly.

Cask at The Jolly Angler, Reading. A hazy yellow-gold colour with a white head; aroma of hops and honey; taste is initially citric, followed by a powerful blast of hops and then some honey, and then eventually a slight pepperyness. A complex pint. (Rated: 6/3/6/3/14)
Bottle ABV 4.8% from Threshers, Wokingham. Amber with a thin white head; good lacing; fresh citrus and honey aroma; again a citric taste with a good blast of hop followed by honey and a warming finish, perhaps due to the higher ABV? (Rated: 6/3/6/4/15)

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes simply as "Loddon Ferryman’s Gold" - no "Extra" but at 4.8% ABV. Pours a clear, fully golden with a somewhat rough, off-white and dissipating head. Aroma of nuts and a touch of citrus. Rather extreme carbonation. Medium-bodied with some odd, unclean underlying malty accents. Some citrus - sort of vitamin like - and a whiff of metal. A dry finish. 280906

Cask gravity at Kent BF 2006. Deep copper colour with thin white head. Butterscotch on aroma. Bit of citrus. Malts are ok in mouth, but I think there is some diacetyl in here somewhere.
