Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, big creamy eggshell head. Light citric yeast aroma. Banana and almond flavor, dessertflavors, but overall freshh. Mellow mouthfeel. Fairly harmonic sweet Weisse.

Bottle (brewed at Tucher, Norimberk): Ruby-amber coloured, mid-sized off-white head, quite stable; fruity (almonds and cherries) and caramelly nose with a tinge of alcohol; moderate to strong sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; solid fruity-dark-malty finish with a touch of hoppiness in the aftertaste. Good Doppelbock, not too sweet.........

Bottled. A brown beer with a huge tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw as well as light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, malt, and caramel. The body is thin.

Bottle. Light hazy yellow / orange color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, gum, puddergum. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (221107)

(bottle, brewed by Tucher) Hazy, amber colour with a huge, light-beige foamy head. Yeasty, sweet and slightly toasted malty and wheaty aroma with light notes of caramel, rather shy fruity notes and strong phenols (cobwebs, cloves). Light-bitter, minimal-acidic flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Toasty malty, moderately wheaty taste with caramel and rather restrained fruity notes and yeast; bitter, minimal-fruity finish with not too disturbing phenolic notes.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Cloudy nut brown, creamy head. Aroma of ripe bananas. Medium sweet, spritzy and lively with banana cake flavour. Low bitterness. Solid weizen following the main track.

500ml bottle at St Albans BF 2007. 5.4% Mahogany colour with lasting beige head. Clean drinkable dunkel with a bit of lager puky malt. Nothing special, some choc/coffee. But a little boring. Slight sting on end.2.9/5. Bottle from a colleague. Yes quite chocolatey. No puke. It’s very drinkable. Good chocolate dunkel.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Dark brown colour with ruby notes, firm pale brown head. Malty nose with dark fruit, raisins, prunes, figs and roasted, grainy hints. Malty taste with dark fruit, prunes, cocoa, coffee and slight hints of chocolate. Nice malt foundation, fairly dry. Balanced bitterness in the finish. Great balance, smooth body and very seductive. Lovely stuff!

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Kloster Scheyern Kloster Gold Hell". Clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Clean and malty nose. Medium body, lightly sweet malts, a touch of sulphur and a rather subdued bitterness. 070907
