0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before February 2021. Slightly hazy, dark reddish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-resiny aroma of orange jam, caramel and some red fruits with traces of pine. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, gently fruity-resiny taste of blood orange, caramel, red fruits and some pine, followed by a short, gently bitter, quite resiny and a bit grassy finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant beer, well-balanced and not too heavy on the fruits. Actually, I didn't get any lemongrass whatsoever. Wouldn't call this an IPA either but maybe an American Red Ale?!

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average, foamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly yeasty fruity and sweet-ish, bready malty aroma, hints of peach, apricot, mirabelle jelly, cautious coconut overtones. Taste is sweet-ish malty, yeasty fruity, hints of peach, apricot, mirabelle jelly, slightly dry, nutty overtones with a coconut touch; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. The composition is quite OK, but all flavours come along in restricted if not weak fashion.
