Cask at Cloisters. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of caramel, chocolate and nuts. Taste is praline, Ferrero rocher. Sweet finish. Full bodied. Bit roasty at the back.

Cask at the Plaform Bar, Hexham, 15/05/2025.
Golden amber topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is stewed fruits, biscuit, grains, herb.
Taste comprises fruit slice, hedgerow, a little twiggy, toffee.
Medium body, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge.
Okay bitter.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma is of biscuit, caramel and wafer. Bitter caramel biscuit taste. Not watery with minimal carbonation. Not bad.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, dried fruit and dark fruits. The aroma did not really follow through to the taste and was a bit thin. Slightly dry bitter finish.
