(swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Bready and slightly oxidized malty aroma with notes of caramel. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Cara-malt character with bready notes, caramel, delicately herbal hops in the background, slightly oxidised taste; sweet-bitter and mildly caramelly finish with little herbal spice. So là-là. 13.V.16

(swing top bottle, 33cl, courtesy of pivnizub) Hazy, murky amber to brown colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel and metal, the latter fading away when the beer gets warmer. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty malty taste with notes of caramel, bread crusts and herbal hoppy spice in the background; dry toast-malty finish with a mildly hoppy bitterness, accompanied by notes of caramel and hoppy spice. Smooth and slightly woody beginning. Fresh and nice with Bourbon-Whisky hints. Wood and vanilla, the beer is quite highly carbonated. Smooth wood, the vanilla is round and nice. Easy to drink, hints of grainy bitterness, Nice!

Fast klare dunkel orange goldene Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch süß holzig, Vanille, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack süß malzig, sehr holzig, getreidig, Eiche.

Wenig aromatischer, süß-holziger und leider auch wässriger Antrunk. Die Bourbonnoten steigen, geringe Würzigkeit. Angenehm feinperlig, spritzig. Nicht unbedingt das, was ich erwartet habe. 8/8/8/8/8/8

Bügelverschlußflaše: Hazy, amber coloured, small ’n stable off-white head, slight metallic traces in the quite dry aroma of burnt malt and grains; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, tart MF, a bit fizzy, otherwise light bodied;dryish bitter and grainy finish, some vegetables detectable. As bad as expected…

Klassische Bügelflasche: Deep golden with a reddish sheen, small and quickly collapsing head;mild dryish caramelly nose , nutty and very faint metallic traces underneath; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, quite light bodied, not really soft;slightly lingering caramelly and nutty finish with certain delicate metallic tartness. Not really convincing…

33cl bottle. Pours clear dark orange-brown colour with a huge good lasting light beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, dry hopy, nuts. Taste is sweet malty, grainy, nuts, toasted malt, mild hops.
