Het Nederlandse bierlandschap kent veel verschillende soorten bier en bij elk moment past weer een ander biertje. Daarom experimenteer ik met diverse ingrediënten en verschillende bierstijlen. Variërend van doordrinkbare kouwe kletsers tot complexere bieren om een avondje rustig op te kauwen.
In mijn Rotterdamse brouwerij brouw ik craft beer met veel zorg en plezier. Op kleine schaal zodat elke fles de aandacht krijgt die het verdient. Handmatig bottelen, etiketten plakken, hier en daar een streling en lieve woordjes fluisteren. Dat proef je!

Gift from Michael Pelle, many thanks! Pours a deep amber to brown body with a steady beige head. Aroma's: sweet malt, some red fruit. Also a bit toasted bread retronasal. Flavour is light bitter, fruity. Light bodied. Finishes light moderate bitter, slightly dry.

Can at home, black beer, medium to large head. Aroma is roast, malt, hops, pine, coffee. Taste is the same, bitter, sweet, pine, resin, hops, coffee, malt, very nice.

Tap at Rotterdam bierfestival. Very dark brown. Vanilla, chillies, cardboard, toffee, cinnamon, sugary, dusty coffee. Very dusty and dry. Solid medium sweet, less bitter. Over medium bodied.

Can at Café De Teut, Nijmegen. Dark malt aroma with chocolate, soft hop, pine resin, some grapefruit. Fairly bitter, mild sweet, long bitter finish. Medium body. Nice, on the malty side of BIPA, piney hop.

Sweet-ish, slightly nutty, toasty, dark and caramel malty aroma, weak, yeasty fruity overtones, notes of praline, nougat, toffee, hazelnut, caramel, a touch of honey, red berries, whiffs of cherry, morello. Taste is slightly nutty, toasty, dark and caramel malty, minimally yeasty fruity, minimally fruity hoppy, hints of nougat, hazelnut, praline, toffee, caramel, a touch of red berries; weak, tart-ish, tangy overtones in the finish, additionally some morello. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Harmonious, balanced, fairly complex - good.

The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, roasty, earthy, light herbal, grassy, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
