Bottle @ Borger. Unclear golden body under a light, white head. Classic gueuze aroma, funky, wood, lemon and cellar notes. Taste is pretty classic as well, with funk, wood, lemon and cellar notes. Well balanced, smooth and rather mild but very pleasant indeed.

Bottle, 75cl, at Borger. A pleasant one indeed, funky, barnyard, lemon, oak, hints of bread. Not too tart. Really pleasant. 747416 251108

Pours unclear blonde, small ring of foam. Scent is very citrussy, intense, elderflower clear in the background. Taste is sharp, tart, dry, elderflower very in balance, enriched by the verbena, which delivers a kick in the back. Medium high carbo medium mouthfeel. Works quite well, very balanced. Even though it is not at all my favorite ingredient (elderflower) it works so, so well here that I must admit i'm a fan, and even more so - this might be the thing that defines the Duron blends for me.

Pours nearly clear blonde. Small white head. Scent is full-on zesty, background of cinnamon, but very mild. Taste is sharp and dry, fairly simple acidity. Zestyness is by far the biggest feature. The spices are very background. OK, but out of balance to the zesty side. Lambics and especially the spices are a bit lost. Maybe it was better fresher ? (2021 vintage sampled late 2024)

Pours unclear blonde, no head. Scent is very, very intense. Pastis like !. Taste is tart, dry, very fennel forward, pastis with a lambic background. Not a big fan of fennel, but at this intensity, it's a pure horror for me. Lambic greatly lost terrain here, and respectfully , i have to admit I could barely bring myself to sip a first try, let alone a second. I like most of what Bart does, but this isn't for me... At all.

Pours fairly clear, pale blonde. Small white head. Scent is clean, bright grapes and funk. Gasoline, which shows greatly how clear the grapes are defined withing this lambic. Proves the fruits used were great, as well as they being greatly used ! Taste is full, very fruitforward but lambic isn't lost. Complex in it's acidity, balanced and bright. Quite lovely !

Pours unclear blonde. no head. Scent is mildly tart, some herbal, green grapes. Taste is sharp, tart, dry. More than AVG lambic funk. Fleshy, grapes are very (too) mild, obviously since they're not first use - but the base lambicblend seems pretty good indeed.
