IN BEER WE TRUST

Our quest is to create great beer for the City of Chelmsford and beyond. Through great beer comes friendship and a sense of community. We want to generate more of this in Chelmsford, to create pride in our City and to put it on the map.

All our beer is brewed, conditioned, canned and labelled by hand at our brewery in Chelmsford. We are influenced by the music and art we love, which will be reflected in our branding and design.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small foamy beige head and good lacing. There’s roasted malts and oats in the aroma plus hints of coffee. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy with flavours of roasted malts, vanilla and honeycomb. Hints of cola and nuts come later leading to a somewhat tangy finish. This is decent.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 11th August 2026. Almost clear coppery amber with shallow yet lasting yellowy white foam and full lacing. Pungent and malty aromas. Peels, malts and leafy hops in-mouth, and a finish of caramel malt, spices and leafy hoppiness. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 29/07/2026.
Moderately hazed golden amber with a white cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is grass, mandarin, orange peel, citric tinged straw, pine nip.
Taste comprises bitter orange, raw pineapple, grapefruit, subtle hop spice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close punctured with earthy come lightly danko hop bitterness.
Okay DIPA if a little stuck in 3rd gear and a touch on the raw side.

Last beer on my third flight, so a third of a pint, keg. Coracle, Ironbridge on 24th July 2026. Black with a broken tanned cloud on top. Malty, boozy, dark chocolate and a hint of heat, good finish to the afternoon session.
