Can. A light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Light palate, smooth, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness, some cereal. Cooling pine, mild citrus and stone fruits. A very mild bitterness before a light and semi dry finish. Clean, a tad sweet, for me, the lack of hop welly is the major issue. Overall, inoffensive but too polite for a dipa for me.

Cask at the Alehouse, Reading on 20th September 2025. Crystal clear dark brown with pale tan foam and a fair amount of lacing. Sweet roasty malt aroma. Roasty malts in-mouth with berry fruits. An interesting note of cola to start a roasty finish. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a medium to full body.

Can at home, 8th June 25. Pours black as night. Aroma is roasted malts, ash, cocoa. Taste is bitter, roasted malts, cocoa, ash and citrus. The name of this beer is identical to Renegade / West Berks, BIPA from years ago,, a related brewer perhaps, given the location
