Description
Uhl’s Brewing Co. focuses on abundantly hopped ales, thick and roasty stouts, some barrel-aged varietals and heavily fruited ales. There will surely be a few surprises along the way with recipes that will span from one end of the spectrum to the other. Ales made with the willingness to explore new boundaries and even push through some old ones. We will continue along this path bringing back crowd favorites when we can, but our goal will be to try and expose your taste buds to as many flavors as we can. One craft, one batch at a time.

Vanilla nilla nilla bomb. Boozy vanilla coats your throat. So much vanilla.

From Beer Drop. No dating on the can. Another can with a peel off label; that sure is catching on.

It pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a good, long lasting head of foam and there's plenty of lacing.

The smell reminds me of a good Riesling, lots of semi sweet grapes thing going on. I get a sweetness that is honey like with a light hint of bitterness.

The taste is earthy, yeasty, some grape character but not as much as in the smell. Light hop bitterness that leans towards the spicy side.

Mouthfeel is ok.

Strange beer but I find it interesting.

Shaker pint draft at Max Taps Co in Littleton, Colorado. The pour is a hazy orange yellow with a small white head that leaves behind a nice lace. The aroma is bright citrus hop, a nice melon sweetness and a hint of grain. The taste is mostly about the fresh hops, with citrus orange and the melon soft sweet, finishing with a silky oat and grain. The palate is light to medium bodied, unfiltered, clean finish - very easy drinking beer.

16 oz. can. Pours an unclear, light orange color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The nose is pineapple, cloves, lavender, and caramel. Sweet and fairly citrusy, with a mellow bitterness. Smooth and dank. Pretty nice.

Can, at the BGB 7th Anniversary event. Enormous thanks to Tomáš M. for sharing, and for Adam for bringing this (and Adam's friend for bringing it to him). So... figures it's one of the tastiest beers I've ever tried would be something I'd barely have a sample of and will likely never try again, hah! But it's brilliant. Classic pitch black body, tan head (not that persistent). And then you smell it and it hits you.... peanut butter cups... damn, a brilliant peanut profile, with chocolatey undertones, pleasant without excesses... and then the taste retains all of that, even stresses the chocolatey aspect a little bit more with its maltiness, beyond the repeat of the wonderful peanut presence. Alcohol I did not get much of, but it might show up as you go through the glass. Oh and yes, it's very drinkable for its style and strength. My sample was, in the end, bliss. A fantastic execution of a flavored imperial stout, that puts the many other less successful tries from various breweries into perspective. Hats off to a brewery I'd never heard of before (though that's hardly any fault of theirs). You guys just killed it with this one!
