Tap at Beer Hunters. Dark red color, good cloudy beige head. Aroma has caramel, toffee, malts and herbal notes. Medium-bodied. Herbal, caramel, grass, bretta tartness, vegetables. A bit alcoholic, even thin. Somewhat dry and harsh.

Can sourced from the Duke in Chicago. Pours unclear, rich gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds crackery malts, some ripening orange, bread. Medium sweet flavour with some white gape, melon, pine, more crackers, grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous to close, with more bitter grass, light plastic, graham cracker. Eh, doesn’t seem too fresh? So so.

Draught @ Kaunis Kampela. Rated on 29.01.2016
Aroma has hrapefruit and earthy notes. Flavour has urinal, grapefruit and earthyness. Bretta is strong here. A bit harsh and floury finish. Refreshing anyway.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on a cool mid May Sunday afternoon after going on a long run. Appearance is a bright pale gold with a robust billowy white head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of mango, tropical fruit. Taste is pretty great, mango and citrus, moderate bitterness. If this is a sign of more to come from this brewery, I’m happy about it!

This was poured into an English pub glass.
The appearance was a black color with a small white head. Quick light dissipation. Remnants of stringy sliding lacing.
The smell had a large portion of roasted coffee beans, subtle black licorice, the obvious vanilla bean sweetness.
The taste was basically the same. Subtle sweet to roasted edge of a coffee aftertaste. Dry semi-roasty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Decent sessionability. Carbonation feels good as a milk/sweet stout.
Overall, it works for me and the style, though I don’t see it as one that’s over the top.

Can (1 pint, Beer Hunters). Amber color, good creamy white head. Riped fruits, citrus, grass and pineapple. Medium-bodied. Overriped fruits, citrus. Lingering citrus in the aftertaste. Feels not the freshiest.

Tap at Beer Hunters, Pori. Hazy orange color, small white head, lace. Funky fruity farmhouse aroma. Medium-bodied. Funky, fruity flavor with hoppy finish. Nice farmhouse ale. And yes, keg was checked.
