Bag in a box at Pig’s Ear 2024 - Hackney. Pours hazed yellow. Light-medium sweet flavour with expressive fruity notes, decent acidity, lemon, pale apple, modest funk. Medium bodied, soft. Lightly funky and a bit citric to finish, a little bitter peel, soft semi-ripe apple. Really enjoyable.

BIAB at Bedford CAMRA Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear pale gold with minor translucent bubbles. Aroma: green apple, crisp apple, mild funk. Taste: tangy, tart, quite prominent acidity, green apple, tannins. Medium bod y with low carbonation, dry on the palate.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pale golden colour, some bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit, straw. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, straw, with alittle citric tartness and light acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying finish. Quite drinkable.

1/6/2023. From BIAB at the 36th Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival. Pours very slightly hazy pale gold with a minimally bubbly white head. Aroma of apple, pulp, citrus, straw. Medium sweetness, touch tart. Moderate body, low carbonation. Quite liked this.

26/1/2023. BIAB at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear pale golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is apple, twig, vanilla, lightly funky, touch of rubber. Quite sweet, tart edge. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Clear yellow gold colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipate away and aroma of apple, alittle acetic funk. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, some solventy funk and mellow acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry with hint of lingering solvent at the finish. Quite drinkable.

Bladder bag at Pigs Ear '22, day one, 29/11/22. Clear golden with a thin white covering. Nose is crisp apple, grass, herb, grains. Taste comprises apple skins, light wood, tannins, modest funk. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Tidy enough cider.

31/8/2021. From BIAB at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours clear pale golden orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of musty apple, sharp green apple, light leathery mucky edge. Taste is tart, dry and slightly salty. Moderate body, low carbonation. Sharp, green vinegary finish. Not bad.
