Established in 1918 using traditional rack and cloth cider making methods Bray’s Cider was produced on a farm in Devon for the workers in lieu of payment. 1949 saw Bray’s Cider being sold to local pubs, made in the same traditional way, using local mixed variety apples.
After moving to Somerset in 2005 the third generation of cider enthusiasts – continues to craft traditional cider. A combination of 100 years of knowledge and modernised equipment, using the same traditional principles, has perfected Bray’s Cider today.
We believe making cider this way brings out the best natural flavour of our wonderful, locally sourced apples to produce a proper Somerset Cider.
