Description
Macks Ølbryggeri is the northernmost brewery in the world. The brewery was founded in 1877 by Ludwig Markus Mack. Mack is the fourth largest brewery in Norway, and is probably one of the strongest brands from Northern Norway. Our main production is located in Nordkjosbotn, approximately 70 km from Tromsø. Mack's historical sites in Tromsø houses our administration, the beer shop Kjeller 5, our legendary pub Ølhallen and Mack Microbrewery.

Pale yellow colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is grainy, mild pear and some slight dusty tones. Flavour is grainy, herbal, earthy and bready.

Odd candy fruity notes, some corn and sweetness. Light.

From can at 23.01.25. Clear pale golden. Foamy off-white head. Decent aroma with some pilsner hops and sweet pilsner malt. Almost cloyingly sweet taste of Europilsner and sweet pilsner malt,, with some hops.

From can during Zoom meeting celebrating 2pac Day 20.01.25. Clear golden. Some white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sweet pilsner malt and old hops. Slightly harsh bitterness in aftertaste. Drinkable, but far from fucken great.

Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Sweetish, grainy, light nose. Light-bodied. A bit grain, sweetish malty, bitter flavour. Decent pils from macro but has some industrial vibe too.

Can (from Rema 1000 Hesseng). Yellowish golden colour, small white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is herbal, grassy and mild earthy tones with some biscuity elements too. Flavour is floral, grassy, some hayish and mild earthy tones to it. A bit bready elements too.

Can (from Rema 1000 Hesseng). Ruby red colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toasted, some mild berries, a bit sweet malts and some earthy tones. Flavour is sweet malts, berries, some earthy and herbal tones to it. Caramel and berry finish.

Ruby colour, small beige head. Crystal malty aroma. Light-bodied. Crystal malts, some berries but very watery overall. Harmless as doesn't taste much of anything.
