RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. 44 cl can. Golden colour, moderate head. Butterscotch (diacetyl) aroma, quite nice. Flavour is bland and boring with some butterscotch notes, very moderate hops in the finish.

500ml can. Straw yellow. Rapidly fading, white foam. Sweet fruity aroma. A weak flavour has hints of malty sweetness and some hops at the end. Very carbonated and thin mouthfeel. Went well with some spicy chichen food, though.

500ml can at Skarven in Tromsø (09.09.2006).The 2006 edition of Mack’s autumn beer has a golden brown coloured body with no head, only a small foam ring. Sweet, dried fruit aroma. The flavour starts with a grainy touch and slides into a moderate acidulous taste and finish like that. Lively carbonated and rather thin palate.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of rubber and malts. Flavour of diacetyl, some caramel, fruits and hops. And metallic. Not any aftertaste and goes flat in finish. Not very pleasant.

Can. Clear, golden beer with a white head. Bready and malty aroma with some hops. The flavor is bitter, malty and bready with some fruity notes. Medium body and a malty and bitter finish. Was really disappointed with this one. Mack usually makes a bit commercial species in the Ludwig Premium series, but this was not even commercial. (060812)

Can. Pale yellow with a small white head. Grain, grass and hay in the aroma. Some fruityness in the flavor, but very weak. Hints of hops and grains. Thin and watery with just hints of finish. I am not even sure if it deserves 1.6. (060812)
