Description
Since we started in 2015, we wanted to build an independent, modern brewery in our beloved city of Berlin. But building a buisness is difficult, so we started as contract brewers and brew our core assortment in the Hohenthanner Schlossbrauerei. Now, we count the days till we can brew all of our beers in our own production brewery close to the Berlin S-bahn in Neukölln. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for regular updates!

Train beer pre-ACBF courtesy of koelschtrinker, thanks! Pretty close to black color, brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Burnt toast aroma. Taste is burnt brownies. Nice.

Thanks to Bartlebier! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ train post-Bruges Beer Festival 2017. BBF 29.08.2017. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is stale malts, soggy grains, faint cardboard. Nose isn’t entirely enticing. Taste was luckily passable, grains, hay, low wet cereal, stale malt, grains, faint grass. Cereal, malt, orange peel body. Not the best but it passes.

Borefts VIII. Day 2. Bottle thanks to Beerhunter111. Almost opaque dark brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest carbonation. Mellow, in fact nondescript dark malts. Trace of roasty bitterness. Light semi dry finish. In a world of plentiful samey average stouts, this one manages to fall well short of the mark. Wishy washy!
