Description
When a beer enthusiast and a brewer come together it one household it can only end up in cirrhosis or a brewery. Lucky for us, it was a brewery and we have been brewing modern beer without filtration or pasteurization since 2016. In 2021 we purchased CK tanks in Fenetra / Clock brewery and moved all of our production into this cutting edge facility. Why Chroust? Our names are Karolína and Jirka Chroustovský.

Can shared at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2026. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hayish bitter. Very bitter finish. Best lager of the day I'd say.

Thin body, med carbo. Rather subtlish med-light sour, little of anything else. Light saltiness. Med-light coriander seed. Subtle hints of lacto. Overall very clean, very easy drinking. Neutral in taste, but wth, classic clean gose. Nice.

Can at Galerie piva, after the Slavia - Mladá Boleslav 4:0 match, of course. Bit hazy pale golden body, off-white head. Somewhat creamy Riwakaish NZ herbal aroma. Medium body, creamy, Riwakaish NZ herbal notes, light alcohol somehow... nah, didn't sit well with me, might retry it if I see it on tap.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Hazy golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, quite strong bergamot in the nose. Bergamot, smoked salt, discreet touch of pepper and some pineapple with light lime in the finish. Mango puree is subdued which is a big plus.

0.5 l can thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is tropical candy, pineapple, some peach or mango, a hint of salt in the aroma, a hint of smoke. Light body, moderate carbonation, sweet bready and yoghurty flavour. Apricot marmalade. Hint of black pepper. Soft tartness, light mineral touch. Too sweet.

Can from Craft House Prague, was supposed to drink it during New Years Zoom chats, but stuck with my 00:00 prosecco. Shared for Hrabren and Ogi in Zagreb then. Hazy pale yellow-golden body, off-white head. Smooth, yet fresh-sharp bergamot-driven tropical aroma - mostly pineapple, we agreed, the spices thankfully not taking the wheel on this one. Smooth, soft, salty taste, jammy bergamot taste, pineapple, marmeladeish overall, the lactic acidity thankfully not overdone - the spices in the background at best, the pepper showing the most. This is actually one of the most fun, tasty kettle sours of any kind I've had in a while. Props!

Med-thin bod, med-light carbo. Med-light bitter, sweet too. Medium generic citrusy exotic hops. Goodish, not greatish.
