Moderately hazed marmalade orange with a white cap that soon thins to the edge.
Nose is strawberry, caramelised sugar, herb, straw, modest apple vibes.
Taste comprises herb, guava, nectarine, strawberry pips, hedgerow, apple skins.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Interesting stuff ... good bitter sweet balance.

Panda at home many thanks to Ed Danlo. A mostly clear rose gold peach coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is salty wooden barrel , vinous funk, peaty whisky notes, wine barrel mouldy staves. Flavour is composed of salty, sour grape, vinous funk, wooden barrel staves, some petal floral notes on the finish. , Palate is tart, drying, wooden tannin, drying finish, lightly oily on the tongue.

18/11/2025. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Oaky, vanilla, strawberry yogurt drops, woody, toffee, baked. Sweet, woody, vanilla, rich apple. Light tangy tartness. Drying. Very nice.

750ml bottle from Beerhive. Hazed orange gold colour, short-live foamy head and aroma of wood, oak, strawberry, flowers, apple. Taste is sweetish, tangy, appley, with oak, woody, vanilla notes, and strawberry, hibiscus, along with some acidity & tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, tartish oak barrel with strawberry & apple at the finish. Nicely drinkable.

Nose is tangy berry fruit esters, apple chews, cranberry, hedgerow, straw.
Taste comprises tarte fruit rinds, apple skins, herb, light acidic tickle, glazed cherries.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a lick of booze.
Solid ... high end fruited cider.

750ml bottle from HOTM. 2021 Vintage. Hazed orangey gold colour with reddish tinge, thin white foam head and aroma of cherries, grape, apple. Taste is oak, woody, tart citric, grape, white wine, appley, funk, with cherry notes and drying tannin. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry oaky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from The Cat in the Glass, Manchester. Orange/gold pour. Nose is dessert pear, lychee, grapefruit, kiwifruit. Taste is dessert pear, grapefruit, kiwifruit, passionfruit, touch of fresh mint. Quite medicinal.

Sample thanks to Danlo: Poured an unclear golden with a white bubble head. Aroma is apple, fruity, musty, light woodsy, pungent. Taste is apple, tannins, leathery, citrus, mushy, funky finish.
