Can at Stags Head out of draft kicks headed to bottle/can list. Peachy purple pour out of can almost no head. Nose is blueberry and lactose. Tastes of plenty of blueberry especially the skin, lactose, spicy wheat, lemon, touch of cherry as well. Semi tart zippy palate.

Keg at Whole Foods Fair lakes, 4/25/16. Clear red, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of smoke, cherries, mild tart wheat. The taste is tart cherries, cherry pits, bright citrus. No sign of smoke. Thin.

Bottle to tulip. Distinct Brett dominates the nose, with orange peel and star fruit in moderate support. Hazy golden yellow-gold with creamy white head. Taste is spice, pepper, orange and moderately low souring. A hoppy, slightly tart and low butter finish. Seems to slightly miss the mark on many aspects.

Treated as a Berliner weisse, this was poured into a stange.
The appearance was a glossy yellow color with a slight transparency about it. Carbonation flowed nicely. No head or lacing, but I seem to get that with Americanized BW’s these days.
The aroma starts slightly smoky with a crisp sweet peach flowing into a sly sour wheat.
The flavor follows through nicely-sweet peach, then some smoke, sly crisp sour wheat. Sweet peach aftertaste runs into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionable smooth crisp sweet feel. Semi-sticky with a refreshing contour over my tongue.
Overall, interesting BW. All the qualities of a BW end up coming out, perhaps a bit lighter than expected and then with a Smutlabs sort of nice twist. I wouldn’t mind coming back to this on a hot day.

Bottle purchased at 7Eleven, Kittery. Pitch black color, thin, fast dying head. Aroma is plenty of red grape and plum notes. Mild oak.

Flavor shows the red wine barrel but it never overwhelms my palate. Red grape is deep with light oak tannins that compliment the base stout. The body is mostly full with just a touch of alcohol after the sip.

Whym, Portsmouth tap: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is bubblegum, yeast and lihht booze. Taste is kind of sweet. Typical biere de garde taste throughout. Not bad for what it is.

Pretty decent, and well hidden oak. Caramel and roast with some chocolate and caramel. Black pour with good head and lacing. Creamy consistency. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Black Squirrel.
