330ml bottle. Hazy, amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Slightly sugary, mellow and minimally bready, malty and slightly grassy and fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of red berries, a touch of treacle and pumpernickel. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally sugary, mellow malty and slightly grassy and fruity, hoppy, hints of red berries. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Cautious, a tad sugary - OK.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange, dark golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly cautious, grassy and fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally grainy, pale malty background, a touch of sour malt, unspecific fruitiness. Taste is grassy and fruity, minimally herbal hoppy, pale malty with low residual sweetness, hints of watermelon, mint, a touch of eucalyptus. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Balanced, fairly refreshing - nice.

Tap at the Holy Craft Beer Bar, Düsseldorf. Darker clear golden with a head. Mildly sugary but mostly a hoppy deeper tasting brew, pretty good although perhaps not classed as a typical red ale from my part of the world.
