Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy, mostly white head. Nice zesty citrus snout. Moderately sweet, some bready malts, more zesty citrus, nips of dough, oily lime peel. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Sweet finish, more lemon-lime peel character, some zest, floral accents, bready malt base. Enjoyable stuff, certainly.

Clear ruby/mahagoni. Aroma is dates raisins dried figs some melasses and physalis. Taste is sweet melasses with some sour dried fruit notes. Pretty dense and a bit boozy but also lots of carbonation. Good.

0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before September 2023. Clear, bright golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently grassy-spicy, slightly fruity-floral aroma of grains, some fresh grass, light honey and a touch of lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of grains, hay, some honey and a touch of lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant Maibock, nicely grassy and fresh, really well-balanced.
