50cl can from the Costco advent box pours a crystal clear straw gold with some clumpy white head. Nose is beery, malt and a little sugary, honey and flowers. Tastes and feels a little under attenuated, sweet dough, overly floral. It's not bad, its just not good. Lightly cloying finish.

On tap. Deep dark color and a nice tan head. Boozy nose, hoppy, resinous. Bitter hoppy start, fruity tropical flavors and a nice bitterness. Dryish finish.

500 ml can #8 from the 2023 Costco Advent calendar. Pours a crystal clear medium gold color with a white head and great retention. Fair lacing. Euro pale malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Euro pale malt flavor with light sulfur notes and a light herbal finish. Good example of the style, even if it isn't my favorite style. Very smooth and clean. Medium-light body. Lower than expected carbonation. Soft mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

500 ml can #18 from the 2023 Costco Advent calendar. Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a white head and very good retention. Very little lacing. Very light, soft malt aroma. Tastes more like a pale lager or Helles than a pilsner. Very herbal overall. Not crisp or sharp. Not a fan of this interpretation of the style. Soft mouthfeel. Medium-light body. Lower than average carbonation. Lightly bitter.

First repeat brewery of Costco advent calendar. But started with no Hamburg so a little extra won’t hurt. Dirty gold and some head. Tastes of grains, honey, grass, kool aid. Medium bodied
