Bottle from Bierothek, Erfurt. Hazy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheaty, caramel, dark fruit and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 280817

Looks like banana milkshake. Aroma is cactus fruit passion fruit milkshake. Taste is fresh hoppy bitterness with sour weizen stuff. Fresh. Summery.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is a touch buttery, grassy, pale malts, orange, pineapple, some exotic fruits. Taste is grassy, pale malts, orange and other citrus fruits as well as pineapple. Medium carbonation. Nice and refreshing, but a touch buttery.

Tap. Murky glowing yellow color with huge white head. Aroma is mosaic blueberries, fresh grassiness and sweatiness, and some Callista earthiness as well, herbal, flowery, with milky yeasts, maybe a hint of ginger. Taste is grassy, oniony, shallots, herbal, wheat, milky yeasts. Soft carbonation. Nice if you can take the huge onions. An NE Haze Weizen, coming with the whole package. I have the feeling, though, that this is not the best hop combination with a Weizen base, at least not in this quantity.

Bottle (great garching gift...!): Pale golden, hazy, creamy and lacy and stable white head, lemony and fruity (bananas as expected) nose with a solid base of sweet wheat malt; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, medium bodied, creamy MF; lingering lemony and fruity finish, balanced by sweet malt and a delicate bitterness in the aftertaste. Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu / Weyerbacher BrauHeist ].Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a large, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour malt, sour fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, sour, caramel, sweet malt, sour malt - sour fruit. Tap, undryhopped version. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is oniony, bananas, cheesecake. Taste is bananas, cheesecake, some grassy hops. Medium carbonation, silky mouthfeel. Nice!

Tap. Slightly hazy color with white head. Aroma is bready, yeasty, a bit grassy, buttery, a touch of sulphur, all the right Kellerbier flavours. Taste is the same, earthy, bready, some citrusy-grassy hops. Very moreish!
