Bottle. AFRICOM conference tasting. Hazy amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of light bubblegum. Taste is light clove, subtle roast, more bubblegum. Decent.

Black-brown color with tan head. Aroma is sweet bananas, yeasty. Taste is sweet wheats, bananas, spiciness, but towards the end, more dry malts. Incredible finish. An awesome and daring Weizenbock, fitting to Unertl?s style.

Quite a dark brown color with a creamy white head. Aroma is wheaty, earthy, maybe hints of bananas (or what you associate with a Hefeweizen), strawberries. Taste is earthy, spicy, bananas, some bubblegum, a bit nutty, refreshing finish. Not as malt-forward as the color indicates. A daring Weizen, but a very good one. Not too complex or interesting, but just good. And for this ABV, chapeau!

Brown colored, darker than most weizen, cloudy, sediment floaters, moderate offwhite head, not very lasting. Aroma is quite yeasty, bit acidic, banana bready and less cloves. Taste is moderate sweet wheat, bread, bit of toast and caramel, moderate fruity banana and less clove notes, bit acidic much less than in the aroma. Medium+ bodied, thick, medium+ carbonation.

0,5 l bottle. Expected a cloudy orange in the glass. Surprisingly I see a murky copper with a two finger head. Low citrus and yeast on the nose. Taste starts more fresh sweet berriefruity, low yeasty. Malt in the second row. Little bit like cherry cola. Sorry ... Decent bitterness, fruity dry aftertaste. Not a typical Hefeweizen, but not bad.
