Description

On tap. Pours a dark brown and has an aroma of bread with hints of some fruitiness. Doesn’t seem to be a true "Brune" as it taste more like a weisse. Still easy drinking and enjoyable.

Pale amber, medium head fades quickly to small layer, leaving expected belgan lacing.Aroma is of musty old books, the typical belgian doughy yeast, old straw and barnyards.More doughyness form taste, as well as some banana, spices, hint of earthy hops and some faint vanilla or milk chocolate. Oh and the alcohol is definately noticeable.Average mouthfeel, perhaps a bit too much carbonation.

Location: Had it a few time, had it on tap, had it out of the bottle...
Overall Impression: Just an overrated beer by all account, lacking the tastes that make a good beer, especially a Belgian

Bottle: Amber, clear, lively carbonation, small, but stable creamy beige head; a subtle fruitiness in the by caramel and coriander dominated nose; moderate sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied, sweet-caramelly finish with a subtle fruitiness and some spices around. Pleasant, not too complex.........
