Tap at Frisches. Light hazy golden, white lace, fine carbonation. Medium to full chew. Nice flowery apricot and gooseberry notes on sponge cake malt base, substantial yet easy drinkable. Modern Maibock - I prefer this to the old dark bock.

Bottle from Hausmann Getränke. Very light haze, amber with a decent head. Light citrusy, spicy nose. Great clean dry flavor full of grains and possibly C-Hops or Blanc. Nice modern-hopped export!

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep ruby/brown, cola-like pour, one finger frothy beige head, medium retention. Sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, toasted caramel, ripe fruits, subtle roasty notes, hints of wood. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice mouthfeel and texture, smooth, drinkable, refreshingly fizzy. Balanced bittersweet taste. Malty aroma, toasted caramel, candy, ripe fruits. Wood, bread, subtle hop notes. Slightly sticky. Subtle lingering roasty bitterness. Medium lasting finish, dry. Quite enjoyable.

Ripe fruits, floral notes. Hops in the background. Medium lasting finish. Nice.

Medium body, average carbonation, lively. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, refreshingly fizzy, goes down nicely. Balanced bittersweet taste with subtle sour notes. Aroma of wheat, grains, grass. Ripe banana, clove. Nice lingering hop character in the background. Floral, perfumy. Minerals. Medium lasting finish, light tart. Quite tasty.
