On tap at the Brewpub Sunday 9th February 2020, en route to a gig by Balthazar at Backstage Werk, München. Pours black with a light beige head. Light roastiness, a little dark fruitiness, a little thin and absolutely not the Imperial Stout it suggested on the blackboard.

Heller, angenehm hopfiger Beginn. Süß hefig bananig, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung, hohe Süffigkeit. Erfrischend. 12/8/11/8//8
Sampled @ Braukunst Live 2020. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. Aroma of fresh fruity hops, banana, green hops. Taste of fruity green banana, yeast, citrus.

31-01-20 // taster at Braukunst Live! I like Hefeweizen and I adore Mosaic. The combi works but could be more intense. This is a softer approach for those hop aroma unaware bavarians ;)

31-01-20 // taster at Braukunst Live! Definitely not imperial and not really stouty as well. More of a stronger Dunkel. Bit thin bodied. No stout creaminess.
Sampled @ Braukunst Live 2020. A clear dark orange brown beer with a white head. Aroma of roasted dark malt, sharp grains. Taste of dark roasted malt, burned malt, liquorice.

Dunkler, muffig hefiger Beginn. Erhöhte Karbonisierung, muffig, unpassend. Schlecht. 9/6/7/6//6

Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown, golden foam. Roast, dusty Earth nose. Dry roast, burnt caramel, astringent. Medium body, dry mouth feel. Mainly toasted, licorice, some hop bitterness, minty hop aromatics which clash with the heavy roast. Feels a bit unbalanced, might mellow out over time.

On tap at Paulaner at Kapuziner Straße, München, Thursday 19th December 2019 whilst on the ITG Christmas Meal. Pours a mid brown colour, looks great with a mid sized off white head. Nice maltiness throughout, a little caramel and nuttiness, dark fruits and some oomph. Good.

On tap at Paulaner Bräuhaus, München, Friday 30th August 2019. Pours dark gold with a white head, much like the Zwickl this has busy carbonation. Nice softness in the mouth. Good depth of flavour, a maltier APA methinks but bitterness is showing albeit in a UK bitter stylee. Fruity, dry finish.
