Taste is slightly tannic, woody and smoky malty, slightly caramel malty with some residual sweetness, hints of smoked wood, smoked ham, smoked eel, toasted oak, some pure oak wood, oak chips, a minimally diluted touch of caramel, some vanilla, peaty and leathery overtones once in a while.
Oily texture, smooth and soft, slightly greasy palate, medium to fine, minimally scattered, soft, creamy carbonation.
Definitely an improved version compared to "Boo Blooms", really great at some moments (initially after sipping), but eventually falls back on a mediocre level (while meditating about intensity and harmony and comparison to Schlenkerla brews); oak aging is an improvement, needs more caramel malty and "barbecue" aspects on the other side to compensate for a lack of body and a better integration of the tannic counterpart - pretty nice nevertheless.
