I was in Fredericksburg last weekend with family, we wanted to visit the brewery and the place is impressive, the beer, well, it is okay. Several of their beers on tap, curiously we got this in a 12 oz bottle in the building housing the tractor collection. The taste was grain, significant caramel, toast and malt. Substantial sensation. A better than average Oktoberfest beer imho.

A tap 16 oz serving at the brewery. Medium gold in color with a respectable head of white foam. Grain, a bit caramel, cereal and malt. Not bad, not out of the ordinary, but it was served in a nice place.

On tap pours out crisp clean straw topped with a white head. Nose is light grain wheat notes. Taste is more of the nice wheat touch and some grass.

On tap @Jaxon Beer Hall downtown Dallas. Clear plastic cup. Hazy, murky orange honey pour. Spiced orange & white pepper nose. Fresh fruit juice, mellow clove, old pepper, dusty loaf, bittersweet, kinda nice. Served super cold, gunky, prickly but uneven carb. Wrong season for hefe, but this drank nice.
