Golden or the slightest bit darker, clear looks. Average sized white head, quite good retention and a bit of lacing. Aroma: fresh/fragrant crackery malts, very light sweetish notes of honey, a hint of slightly citric fruitiness, a relatively intense (per style) clean grassy feel. A pretty simple aroma, not especially intense, but feels quite fragrant and refreshing. Taste notes follow the aroma closely: again, average taste intensity, a pretty nice refreshing feel and a delicate fragrant/crackery touch. Quite light in both sweetness and bitterness, very delicate and nicely balanced, very clean. Nice mouthfeel: quite light in body, light to medium, delicate, fine-bubbled carbonation; feels very smooth with a hint of crispness. Overall: a very classic, straightforward helles, maybe even simpler than other examples; very well crafted though and overall a very good example of the style.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20241215) The beer poured deep golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, grass, grain and mildly alcohols. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, honey, light sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Pleasant.

Pours dark golden to light amber, perfectly transparent. Good sized white head, relatively quick to recede, little lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: cerealy malts with a hint of white bread, a touch of honey, relatively vivid (per style) herbal/grassy hops, apple-like fruitiness and a light warming feel. Decent definition. Taste notes follow the aroma closely. Average intensity, ok definition. Medium to high sweetness, medium bitterness, a bit on the sweet side in the mouth with a light warming feeling, well balanced in finish/aftertaste with a hint of floral hoppiness. Medium bodied with light to medium carbonation, slightly on the oily side for the abv with an overall quite smooth and easy mouthfeel. Very much fine, not impressive to me.
