Bottle bought by mail order in Japan. Bright golden orange color with a medium head. Warm malt nose, biscuits, honey, orange and stone fruit. Rich, estery flavor, floral, fruity, bitter. Intense. Great fruit and hops, with malt esters and hops working together nicely. Not in perfect condition, but still excellent.

Bottle bought by mail order in Japan. Pours a bright, clear gold with a low head. Nose is soft malt, lemons, biscuit, honey, a touch of oxidation and a tiny bit of DMS. Crisp, clean malt flavor, and extremely bitter for the style. Nothing like a Munich Helles, but super nice, if not in perfect condition when we got it.

Goblet pours a clear, burnt gold with a ring of white head. Huge malty nose, real Germanic, nickel, root veg, fresh bread. Flavors are chewy malt, candied orange, some brown sugar. Finishes off dry, a little peppery, medium full.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Lagom flavour typical for the style. Slightly murky caramel gold. Good flavour but slightly off balance finish - bit sweet, bit bitter, but not quite harmonious.

100ml draught, 7.2 % abv, at Hopfen+Malz. Crystal clear warm golden body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Inviting on the nose with caramel malts, mid-dry. Quite tasty with caramel malts, biscuit and a note of leafy hops. On the sweet side of bittersweet ending. Fine bodied. Likable. (Aachen, 26.02.2026).

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice small head. Fine malty spicy aroma. Starts fine malty, spicy, wheaty notes. Mild sweetish hints, not too intense. Shy lemon touch. Finish well balanced, soft malty-spicy. Quite drinkable. Nice one!

Bottle. Clear deep golden. Hay, summer, sweetness, grainy, gummibears. Front heavy, metallic, a bit of an edge to it, oily, bitter. Chewy sweet sticky buttery aftertaste. A tad too sweet for me, too sticky, and not full enough. Drinkable.
