500 ml bottle. Slightly unclear copper with a fluffy head. Lots of roasted malt, caramel, lemon zest, earthy notes, floral hops, some licorice, lemon, slightly metallic, rye bread. Malty sweetness, dry metallic bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry metallic roasty caramel bittersweet finish. It’s a good roasty malty Amber Lager / Rotbier, yet with a good a amount of bitterness, that makes it rather balanced.

Clear amber colour, beige foam. Nose of caramel, grains, bready. Light sweet, malty. Light bitter finish.

Dunkelorange Farbe. Fruchtkompott in der Nase. Fruchtkompott und Porridge im Geschmack. Ein Hauch Karamalz, Zitronenschale, saurer grüner Apfel, vergorene Früchte und Spekulatius. Schmeckt grundsätzlich sehr gut, allerdings ist dies alles gar nicht so einfach zu „erschmecken“. Die überreichlich vorhandene (wenn auch sehr feinperlige) Kohlensäure ballert einfach alles nieder. Man schmeckt zwischen all dem Gasbläschen nicht so viel. Wirkt dadurch auch deutlich leichter als die ordentlichen 5,5 % Alk. vermuten lassen würden. Schade, das Bier hätte an sich großes Potential - weniger ist manchmal dann doch mehr.

Bottle, thx Ryan! Murky pale brown body, off-white head. Lean aroma, banana, light yeasty-cabbage notes. Lean taste, banana, maltiness,, tomato, cabbage, caramel, lean fishy finish, some warmth. Weird.

Bottle online from Hop Burns & Black. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a medium sized throthy off white head. Aromas of grains, hay, doughy white bread, toffee and caramel. Taste is malty with more sweet grains, hay, bread, toffee and caramel, with some added peppery spice and just a light grassy hop on the finish. Medium to full body, fairly low carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Very decent above average Marzen.

Trüb bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, fruchtig mit reifer Banane, Karamell und Anklängen an Pflaumen, relativ wenig Hefe. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
