500 ml bottle. Pours clear golden with a foamy head. Grainy, malty, bready, hay and straw, oat, granola, grassy citrusy hops, some metal and overripe stone fruit. Grainy malty sweetness, mild dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry grainy malty strawy finish. A nice mild drinkable Helles, decently hopped, rather Export-like, even Märzen-like.

Bottle picked up from Beyond Beer webshop and consumed at home Monday 10th July 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music cooking a Spinach and Ricotta Lasagna (we didn't get around to it last night). Pours hazy yolky yellow colour with a large typically foamy wheat beer head. Nice in the mouth, lots of banana and a lovely creamy mouthfeel, vanilla and a little spice, excellent.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home a couple of times over the last week (I picked up 3-4), most recently Tuesday 27th June 2023 listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant on 6Music. Looks stunning in the glass, deep reddish brown, more red in fact, wonderful clarity with an off white head. Wonderful mouthfeel, great carbonation, some chewy caramel and a little toffee, sweetness but yet it has perfect balance. A little roasted nuttiness, a nice hoppiness throughout, so, so drinkable, you could easily drink this all night and be so happy. Cannot believe this has only 20 something ratings and yet it's a top 50 beer for it's style. This is a fab' beer, I have another left but I think that this could become a regular fridge beer.
