About

0,5 l swing top bottle. Murky golden in the glass with a nearly two finger white foamy head. Citrus and some pale malt with yeast on the nose. Taste has citrus, pale malt, banana, some yeast and sulfur. Getting a little bit dry. Very low bitterness. Above average carbonated. Near to a Hefeweizen. Okay.

31st October 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie, only four of us! I brought this 500ml flip-top bottle; BB 22nd July 2023. Very sweet and very malty. Red hue to the brown body, off-white head, just too sweet really.

Bottle from the Elsfleth HolAb and opened fittingly on the night of Peggy’s arrival in Hessen. Deep amber with a creamy, off-white head. Caramel aroma, and a touch herbal. Taste is moderate bitter the whole way through. Finishes the same and a bit grainy. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Simple. Not unpleasant

Rocky off white head on an unclear chestnut coloured body. Malt, toffee & raisin aroma. Medium bodied, soft & smooth a clean back. Toffee, raisin, jam, berries & malt tastes with a lightly hopped tangy finish. Nice one.

Appearance: cloudy gold with a large white frothy head of perfect retention. Aroma and taste: wheat bread, banana, overripe apples, restrained clove, a hint of hop. Relatively dry, no bitterness. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: nothing bothering, nothing remarkable.

500ml swing top bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours hazy greenish - yellow with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, vibrant, sweet - sour, sweet candied lemon, lemonade and not a huge amount of beer base on the snout. The taste is quite crisp, dry, snappy upfront, sweet, sugary, juicy, tangy cloudy lemonade, lemon sherbets (the boiled sweet) and only a distant beer backdrop, to be honest with a smooth, finish. Light+ body and moderate carbonation. Drinks easy for sure. Perhaps I would have liked more beer character, but I still like it.
