Description
We focus our attention on brewing rustic, unfiltered, aromatic beers that are approachable and unique. We pull from our home brewing background to build beers that pay homage to tradition, but break new ground in American brewing techniques and flavors by blurring the line between beer and wine. We are brewers of big ideas in very small batches.

8.4/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 9 Texture 8 Overall 8.5
Aroma has a nice fruity character with some nice stone fruit notes and overripe pear. A good, light, cherry note with light acidity and citrus. Light oak notes and tannins add complexity. Pours a slightly cloudy, golden orange with a faint pinkish tint and a small, white head that disappears to the edges where it lingers slightly. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light acidity with some light citrus character. Low grain notes with some light oak and oak tannins. Medium light cherry character with medium light bitterness. Slightly mineral water quality. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another very nice fruited saison from SARA. One thing I really like is that the fruit is not overwhelming, but instead adds a complimentary background note.

Light citrus notes and a touch of acetic character. Medium light bitterness and light oak notes. Light malt notes of toasted bread and dark caramel with faint chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice fruited sour beer. Lots of fruit notes in the aroma and decent notes in the flavor. Acidity is high but not over the top.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, small white head, great lacing. Aroma is lots of coffee, a bit of lemon, basement mustiness. Flavor is initially a bit sweet, light tart, bit of bitterness, drying out in finish. Lots of coffee, fruity, lemon, a bit of oakiness. MedIum body, smooth and creamy. A bit of a mind fuck to get this much coffee from a blonde beer, but its really nice.
