Bottle from the cidery. Baby Duvel glass. Mood: Still jolly. Clear solid gold body with a hint of floaties. Smell is unexpectedly rich & macerated upfront, turning acidic. Big upfront acidic fruit, but only mildly bitter. Some sourness too, but backended by extreme stone fruit. Suggestively creamy at first, it is thin & sharp. Lingering skin & that tannic pith finally hit at the very end. Lightweight, but not lacking.

Bottle from the cidery. Fake 12oz pint glass, wide mouth. Light amber with a slight protein haze. Smells of stone fruit, saline & green melon. Sharp kiwi & apricot. Very fruity, very acidic. Not much meat. Crispy & drier then expected. Low heat, but hits after the fact. Big.

Bottle from the cidery. Pint glass pour. Bottles to spare. Clear honey amber body, white on gray head. Scent is very pithy & oaky with some perceived macerated sweetness. Crazy dry from the get go. Sizzling carbonation. Minerally, cherry pits, something floral like rose, some glue, popsicle stick finish. Really dry. Well done, but not my favorite. Never got the fascination with Kingston Black, but that naturally oaky character is great in blends.

On tap at Cardiff Giant. Wine glass pour. Golden MGD body. Smells of tannic juice, melon, white wine & a little farm. Tastes of tannic oak, lemon, bitters, acidic apples, minerally, with fumey alcohol. Still, but "still" quite a lot.

The color is golden with dull hue. Aroma of mature apples, hazelnuts. Sweet, moderate syrupy thickness, but the acidity balances it; flavor of mature and stewed apples, some mulled wine spice, quite rich if not overly complex, with mild astringency in the final.
Very good.

375ml bottle at Matt's. Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma is red rape apples. Same taste with moderate to high level of sweetness and apple acidity. Very nice.

375mL bottle, pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma brings out lots of caramel, toffee, green apple, and brown sugar. Flavour is medium sweet, with brown sugar, toffee, caramel and a touch of green apple. Not the most complex ice cider, but it's certainly true to style. Very nice.

Golden colour. The nose is baked apples, some spices (the usual nutmeg and cinnamon you get with ice ciders) and of course some sugars. Sweet, sticky, with some acid in the finish. Not bad - not super complex but has all the basic elements of the style.
