Brown 750 from their bottle club. Lo-ball at home.
Amber pour, very slight suspension that settles down eventually.
Cherry skins, apple pits, a little veg, very minute maple, sawdust nose. Not very bold.
Semi-sweet, cherry & sweet corn, oaky apple core, crap apple sharpness, lemon iced tea, old-fashion cocktail essence. Orange pith on the tail. Tart pucker middle on for contrast.
Warming but just barely. Thin but a touch greasy. This would have slapped at 9.5% Not as dynamic as good years of Albee Hill.
Good+.

Brown 750 via their summer package.
Mojito glass at home. Dusty, medium pale gold, flash of head.
Tart & herbal, almost veggie nose.
White wine, grassy, lemon, caked yeasties, some band-aid, herbal finish. I feel like the bittersweets drag this down from the bright, refreshing beverage it could be.
Watery, half-tart, middle low carb, slightly boozy, mineral finish.
Just okay. If it was dirt cheap, I suppose I'd feel okay about it.

Bottle from their summer bottle club. Who ships in the summer? These guys. Fridge sleep for a week before pouring into a low-ball glass.
Classy amber, on the orange side.
Leafy, sharp, oily, boozy hot, cooked apple spirits.
Upfront taste is caramel & bright acid. Acidy, thin, popsicle stick tannins, lemon iced tea, rose water, long sharp, lots of oak & dried herbage. A touch of heat but there's a wall of sweet n savory that just keeps it all from getting out of control.
Being still just makes it feel so much more potent.
Really like ya but do I love ya?

Bottle from the cellar that's been the runner up in the fridge on the last few get togethers.
Lo-ball at home, Friday night before beer chatz.
Pale gold, very slight protein haze, quick spritz, no head.
Syrupy sweet & damp nose with an apple blossom floral. Light perceived bitterness.
Bright & mostly clean after an initial mild funk front. Middling tart, residual pear sweetness, bubblegum, faint leftover yeasties, touch of mint, pleasant slightly bitter finish.
A bit of body, slick, bright, good middling acid, very low co2, hidden abv feels real easy.
Approachable & tasty.

Brown 750 from their bottle club. Sat for a few months before I bothered. I figured it was the same blend, but it is not!
Lo-ball at home. Clover honey-colored pour, medium head that settles fairly quickly.
Nose is juicy bittersweet apple, pithy, hand lotion, sharp floral, lemon honey, fuming booze.
Flavor is dark & macerated apple juice & incredibly pithy wood, black tea but too astringent, old leather, walnut dryness descriptor is spot on. Very noticeable oxidation that they're attempting to cover up. Incredibly hot for just 8%.
Fizzy, sharp carb, textured, mid acid with a lingering sharpness cutting through a low ceiling of sweetness.
I want to like it, but can't. This is tough to drink more than a bit of. A really brutal bittersweet.

Bottle from their online club. Few months in the basement then to the fridge.
Mojito glass at home. Shared with the neighbors.
Crazy rocket launched cork, slightly too frizzante. Lots of foam, but not a bottle bomb.
Strong bittersweet & sharp nose, lots of old cherry & leather behind fresher goldrush or something equally bright.
Taste is drier than expected, thinking it was still working in the bottle. Macerated apple, crab sharpness, leathery, lemon, old rose candies. Old oak.
Perfect piercing carb on a kinda thin body with some lingering pectin. Decent abv is bolder than I remember in years past.
Best blend in years. Slammin.

Bottle from their bottle club. Bigger batch vs last year, but last year had a bunch of variable weather. Sorry I can't find a vintage bottle in the basement to compare.
Pint glass at home with the sorry saps in chats.
Clear & crispy, medium gold, quick soda head.
Earthy, buttery, celery, somewhat savory, orange honey, cooked down bittersweet nose.
Bitter, herbal, hyper veggie, sweet rind, burnt onion, plastic, lingering floral, Play-Doh.
Crispy, fizzy, baked, great texture. Russets have most of what you need out of a good cider but have this overall veggie note you can't shake.
Good+.

Bottle via Eve's. Three Kingstons from three different fields. Pint glass at home after a few weeks of fridge sleep.
Crispy, a click past pale gold, tall soda froth.
Noticeable vanilla nose, cranberry orange, citrus green tea.
Dry-dry, acidy, fizzy, bittersweet leaning into black tea, lemon, yeasty florals. Moderately boozy, iron, lingering tannins.
Tis good.

Three pack of different Kingston Black's via Eve's Fall club box. Straight into the fridge & popped within a couple weeks. Mojito glass at home.
Fizzy, see-though, medium amber, tall soda head. Second pour just has a wee bit of protien.
Bittersharp nose, cherry wood, black pepper, ripe pineapple, rubbing alcohol burn on the nose.
Boozy burn, sharp, strong oak note, herbal tea-tannins, a bit of lemon, calcium, weak but lingering medicinal cherry bitterness.
Irritating bubbles, bottle isn't labeled as a pet-nat. Warming, dry leaning dry-dry, medium high acid, chalky stop.
Needs some time but pretty good now.
