Bottle from the Union Sq. Farmer's Market. Long sleep in separate basements. Lightly moldy cork & cage. Stemless wine glass @home. Clear, medium gold, quick froth, a slight floater here & there. Floral, lemon, sweet tea, leather, cooked skin. Bitter-tart apple & serious core. Ever slightly watered down. Iron, salt, juicy, lingering skin, slight residual, mellow aspirin. Back when Eve's wasn't afraid of angles in their cider. Bold acid, lingering tartness, solidly carbed, strong for just 7%. Have had better editions, but I miss this flavor profile.

Bottle from their cider club. Big basement sleep. Tulip @home. Medium light gold, a touch dull, leftover froth. Salty, sandy fruit, earthy perfume, very minerally nose, dry leaves. Bitter& puckering peach, pepper, lacquered old apples, chalk, sucking skin, lime, super sandy-minerally-beach, pithy finish. Sizzling carbonation, strong acid, medium high tartness, some leftover slickness, relatively easy abv, decent dry mouth. Great, but has mellowed & lacked any fun/harsh edges.

Bottle from their cider club. Tulip @home. Bullet cork left a dent in my ceiling, but it wasn't a bottle bomb. Clear, vibrant, amber, super active. Minerally, floral sweet & astringent, boozy orange & pine. Super crispy, lime, all skin & core, hyper dry fruity middling astringency. Subtle oak vanilla & green plum. Super thin & bubbly, solid abv but I could do 9%. Best batch in years.

Bottle from their cider club. Pint glass @home. Medium gold, jellied, mostly clear, still. Leafy bittersweet nose. Sweet onion, orange & oak nose. Bittersharp, lots of skin, pithy orange, lemon, creamy yeasties, celery & popsicle stick finish. A little stiff for the abv. Sulfite headache. Better than the North Orchard one. Less harsh, more flavors.

Bottle from their winter cider club. Settled in the fridge for a month. Mojito glass @home. Long time to settle, clear, medium dark, dull-ish gold pour. Astringent, greasy sweet apple, sweet onion, cigarette ash, wet oak. Tart, sour stone fruit, macerated apples, herby, old astringent wood, lemon tea bitterness, really long finish. Intentionally still. Bold & a bit adventurous. Touch of a sulfite headache. Interesting & enjoyable.

Bottle from their online shop. Pint glass @home. Clear & pretty. Vibrant 14k gold. Sharp, sweet, oaky, buttery nose. Acidic, sharp, bittersweet leaning bitter. Buttery oak, very faint oxidation, pestering acid, lime finish. Waxy, bold carbonation, hot for only 8%. Good, but has been great.

Bottle shipped from the cidery. Pint glass @home. Spirited, spritzy, bright, clear, pale gold pour. Falls still pretty fast. Boozy, white wine/prosecco, grass, a little harsh. Sour lemon lime, sour apple, plum pit astringency, a squeak of vinegar, salt, bit of butter on an otherwise quiet finish. Too sharp & not as complex as in years past, but closer to the original 2019 batch. Expected better.

Pint glass @home. Bottle from their bottle club. Initially clear, it becomes cloudy, pale & somewhat chunky from the second pour on. Earthy, acidic pineapple & white pith nose. Taste is accurately grapefruit pith & lemon juice, earthy yeast, minerally skin, lime, paper, papaya finish. Hyper acidic, thin, boozy enough, warm belly acid. Okay to good.

Bottle from their cider club. Goblet @home. Dusty, pale gold, spritzy, settles to still quickly. Yeasty, corn sweet nose, earth. Crispy initially, super yeasty, faintly tart, thin apple skin, mellow pith, onion sweetness with juicy apple sauce & calcium. Starchy body, mellow to medium carb, potent abv for the feels. Lacks complexity. Okay to good.

Bottle from their cider club. Goblet @home. Very active, nucleated, clear, honey gold. Lemon, wildflower honey, herbs on the nose. Barnyard, lime, very sharp, hidden acid, aromatic wood, vanilla, floral honey. Not a big fan of golden russet, but it seems like a big 2021 crop that they blend into everything. Strong, stinging carbonation. A touch harsh & exciting. Different from the typical refined Eve's. A whole bottle is tough. Good though.
