Came back to a 3/4ths bottle after a week & it was drier & better in all aspects. 3.7 to 4.0 Bottle from their cider club. Everything is shipped, I sure as hell can't give the effort. Glass mug @home. Clear, pale amber. Basic, but heady. Smokey, sticky, caramelized apple nose. Liberty I can now pick out thanks to their constant chatter about it. Not my fav. Crispy, more smokey apple, macerated, sweaty, old sweetness, bittersweet. Soft tartness, mellow but building acidity. Tart & fun Krys apples they put in everything now. Leafy, lingering, yeasty, green bitterness. More heft, little sharpness in this one. Complicated. Bold.

Bottle from their cider club. Duvel glass @home. Chill hazed, jellied, golden ale. Stinky sulfur pour. Maybe some pear. This brand is usually cleaner. Waiting doesn't seem to clear it. Papaya comes in once warm. It's ever so funky. Sweet-tart. Berry, lime, pineapple, rose, the kiwi in the descriptor is accurate. Definitely has Krys apples. A very unique & odd papaya, browned, mixed fermentation flavor. Continuous tart, lingering, consuming finish. Concentrated. Lick your lips & there is more tartness. Wood pulp. Fruity, spirited, very tart, moderately sour, fun, mellow abv. Good.

Bottle from their cider club. Four weeks in the fridge. Mojito glass @home. Particle haze but otherwise clear, dark gold, soft head, lingering lace, active. Their standard lineup is always disgorged & super pretty. Bitter-tart apples, pear/rose florals/dryer sheet. Minimal nose or maybe it's just too cold. Edit: Marzipan came out once warm-ish. Very tart initially. Sour & bitter/astringent fruit seeds. Chalk. Booze. Cedar descriptor is very on point. Lingering acidity. Cleansing, burning carbonation. Really dry. Slightly numbing. Champagne alternative. Okay to good.

750ml bottle from Aeble. Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, fruity, fleshy, funk hint. Taste is sweet, apple, tart, fleshy, with kiwi fruit, minty notes, lime, acidic along with some drying tannin. Medium bodied, low soft carbonation, drying sour citric finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from their cider club. Goblet @home. Fought with this cork for at least five minutes before it begrudgingly slid out. Dark, macerated, ever slightly hazed, dark gold, active, lingering lace. Nose is calcium, pear, fermenting grain, browned fruit. Not exactly attractive. Bittersweet greens, not quite ripe pear & sour cherry, sweet celery, tart Honeycrisp, lingering tannic apple peel. This tastes a lot like their Krys cider, but more complex & somewhat sweeter. Solid bubbles, damp, soggy, sugary. Abv should have gone higher. Messy but okay.

From Eve's cider club. Goblet @home. Huge bottle bomb I thought I was ready for. Stinky, plastic-y, ugly phenols. Juicy apples, frothy, peppery, minty, eucalyptus, tannic finish. Okay, but a terrible pour.

500ml bottle acquired through their Quarter Acre for the People donation drive. Crystal clear, dark, resin-y amber color. Still. Sharp, oak-y fruit with a rose-y, perfumed nose. Tannic, puckered, acidic, lacquered, long-lasting macerated fruit. Advertised as bone dry, but I swore I found a zesty marmalade note as it warmed. Intentionally still, smooth, sharp, not acrid, sour or vinegary. Maybe a touch of oxidation that doesn't seem out of place. Reminds me of old bottles of Albee when it wasn't so watery. Really nice blend.

Bottle from their cider club, Perry edition. Low-ball glass @home. Loud cork, sizzling pour, pale, not quite crystal yellow gold brew. Bold orange, herb-y, grape-y, yeasty, fume-y honey poached pear scent. Yeasty, sharp, funky muscat grapes, oat sweetness, honey florals, chalk, inconsequential Aspirin bitterness, gum, residual pear skin that builds & is tasty. Unusually (semi)sweet for Eve's but lots of complexity. Super bubbly, light, leftover yeast adds some body. Sulfites seem more noticeable in perries. Moderate booze seem understated. Would like to try a drier bottle. Fun.

Bottle from their cider club a few ears back. Drank one, found another hiding on the back shelf. Must have lost the old rate somewhere. Lowball glass @home. Amber/pale bourbon color. Intentionally still. Smells of savory, smokey pear & leather. Smells too deep for apples. I know I'm wrong. Low acid, just a squint of tart, all parching bittersweet vanilla, sweet cigar & oak; quite thin. Slow & soothing. Drinking this helps you better understand the ying & yang that is needed for blending. Good.

Syrupy in texture, really nice flavor.
