Tap at Airbräu. Murky deep golden. Sour grainy doughy nose, damp. Front heavy bitter, followed by soapy sticky oily bitterness. Thin. Not the best. Bonus points for the waitress telling us it's rather hm-hm.

Tap at the brewpub. Hazy amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is flowery hops, caramel malts, nutty. Taste is estery-fruity, flowery. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Pretty decent.

Tap at Airbräu, half way to Barcelona. Murky mezzo mix colour. Cloves, spices, some sweetness, flowery. Full, even a bit chewy, nice spices. Light. Like.

Tap at the place. Lightly grey cloudy golden, white lace. Relatively neutral aroma, light almond , medium light chewy body, a bit grainy, doughy, ok hop counterpoint. Pleasant enough certainly had worse “full-fat” lagers.

At the brewpub with JFE and Bernt before travelling onwards to Freising and Bamberg. Orange amber. Diminishing head. Aroma and taste of sweet malt, coriander, wheat, green bananas and herbs. Not great.
