Description
D9 Brewing Company, in Lake Norman, N.C., was started by two engineers and a doctor, with a mission to inspire and support community through the creation of exciting and original crafted ales. Since our inception in late 2014, we have invested in the scientific exploration of the natural world to produce the highest quality, and unquestionably original, crafted ales. D9 Brewing is striving to become the leading producer of mixed wild fermented beer in the southeastern United States, and has been awarded multiple prestigious medals in the sour and mixed-wild categories at the Great American Beer Festival (2016/2018).

16 ounce can from Broughton Market in Savannah, Georgia. Amber gold color. Small frothy beige head. Earthy malt nose hints at bread and citrus. Sweet bread malt flavor upfront. Notes of citrus and stone fruit. Any hint of chili peppers is scant. Medium bodied with a sticky mouthfeel.

Can: Drank from the can but appeared golden. Aroma is light veggie cucumber with some fruit melon. Taste is nice cucumber and melon fruit with light saltiness, finish is grain.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Clear amber with small white head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel, pretzel, and some white chocolate.
