Very beautiful, ever-so-slightly hazy golden and lightly orange tinted coloured body with an ultra-thin and very-fast-dying pure white head. Aroma of super tart, floral, grassy, bretty and extremely-berry like notes with a good deal of gueuze-like yeast notes with some wheat and oak foeder action along with a dry dose of honey noticeable towards the end. Light-bodied; Super strong grassy and extremely tart flavours of fruit and flowers show up with a lot of pure yeast sourness from the brett and oak with a dry, almost herbal finish that shows both the honeysuckle and the berries, in a great way. Aftertaste shows some of the sweetness from the fruits, but ultimately a very dry and extremely flavourful sour and tart yeast and wheat presence which makes this very nice, extremely drinkable and quite sour/tart throughout. Overall, a light gueuze in disguise, without as much carbonation and from the USA, but this one is up there in terms of complexity, depth and enjoyability - this is a great beer, very well-structured and very nice, especially if you like the [real] 'king of beers' from Belgium. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 19-April-2019 for US$3,32 sampled almost exactly a year later on 11-April-2020 at home in Washington.

Just a quick taster before ordering. Medium sourness with some sweetness. Thin and fairly light. Spruce adds weird cleaning taste, whilst maple adds sticky sweetness. Something different. Weird combination that's not very pleasant to me. Didn't order.
