16 oz. can. 8.0 ABV. Pours a clear deep mahogany color with a small, tight beige head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Rich dark chocolate aroma. Similar taste. Very dark roasted base flavor with a very dark chocolate finish. Not bitter, and not too sweet either. Smooth, almost flat mouthfeel makes it easy to drink. Very little coconut and pecan flavors. The 8.0 ABV is undetectable. Really good stuff.

16 ounce can. Reddish brown pour. Small creamy beige head. Toasted malt nose hints at cocoa and coffee. Taste is toasted malt and mocha, but there is an unpleasant sour component. Slightly bitter hops in finish.

Zero ratings at the moment? Ominous. 16 ounce bottle shared by hershiser2 at the Meaty Odd tasting. Hazy pinkish, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of pomegranate, berries, pale malt. Taste is berries, pomegranate, vanilla, pale malt. Medium bodied. I said WTF the first time I took a sip. Weird, but not awful.

Shared with Drake at the great Meaty Odd Tasting of 2018 at my house. Pint can from Wine Warehouse. Pours hazy golden with a soft off-white head. Aroma is lemon meringue pie, cream, sugar. Flavor is sweet lemon, cream, crust... pie-ish. Interesting, but not great. This isn't effing lemon. This is too pink, from what I'm told. Hmmm...

Pint can, Wine Warehouse. Pours brown with a ridiculous head that spills out of the glass with only a small pour. Aroma is metallic coffee - this this might be bad (way too heady, off aroma). Flavor is cocoa powder, metallic notes, light coffee, caramel. Really meh flavor. This is my third in this series and I must say I'm terribly disappointed that D9 is putting out a poor product when I always look forward to their brews.

Pint can from 4-pack mix from Wine Warehouse. Pours murky golden-orange with a large, soft beige head. Aroma is tart fruit - not creme brulee-like at all. Flavor is tart stone fruit, light spice, black pepper, black tea. This is nothing like creme brulee - very strangely named. That being said, it's got an interesting flavor, it's just nothing like you'd expect.
