Description
We are a small blendery operation located at The Grainworks in Hertfordshire, UK. Our focus is on producing 100% spontaneously fermented beers aged in traditional vessels such as oak barrels.

The aim is to source our ingredients as close to the Blendery as possible. We work with farmers and growers directly, and promote their amazing produce through our beers, our website and social media.

Our work is seasonal. We brew in the cold months and fruit in the warm. Each beer we make is of that year. It is of that season and it cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world.

Keg @ Dead Crafty, Liverpool. Pours a slightly unclear gold, thin array of bubbles atop. Prickly fruit, thorny bitterness, with a decent sour edge.. nice.

Keg at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico. A murky hazy plum colour. Thin foamy off-white head. Aroma has blackberries and raspberries providing both sourness and some sweetness. Vinous hints. Jammy. Sour. Quite tart but with a juice element (like the homemade juice my grandmother in Finland used to make from my Grandfather's berry crop). Gets vinous. Some bitterness. Lacks the sweetness present in the aroma. Thin. Slick. Soft-fizzy lazy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Spot on.
