Description
We are a Cooperative Brewery in Belfast owned and run by our members. Opening our doors in 2014, we are the first brewery in NI to bring together modern US styles with the more traditional Belgian/French style beers.

They’ve been leading the way in their native Northern Ireland, specialising in excessively hoppy Pale Ales, decadent Stouts and barrel-aged Sours and Saisons. Utilising the legendary Simpson’s Malt, a broad variety of American hops and all yeasts great and small Boundary beer is always of the highest quality, full of exciting flavours and packaged in beautiful cans.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - chocolate and sweet malt. Like coco pops in milk. Taste - more of the same. Toffee too. Light smoke and burnt toffee on the finish. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall - good stout. Has layers of flavour.

0,33l bottle at home bought from Beergonzo. BB 02 March 2017. almost black color, medium black coffee-colored head. smells of milk chocolate, coconut, light vanilla, bitter chocolate, lightly earthy, light spices. wow, very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of ash, light coconut, earthy notes, lightly boozy, some caramel, vanilla, lightly soapy. finishes rather balanced with notes of coconuts, spices and light caramel. nice smell, but taste is a bit weird / unbalanced. overall still quite decent though.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - I’m really confused as the other reviewers talk about a blonde beer. This is clearly amber brown. Nose - it also smells like a sour fruit beer. Light funk and raspberry. Taste - raspberry with coconut at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - completely different from imbongo so won’t know what to expect from the next one.
