750ml bottle from Mitchell Wines at Meadowhead - Cloudy old gold body, no head. Real sharp crab apple tannins, long bitter aftertaste, some nice warm winter spices in there as well.

Sample from 75cl bottle at Alexander Wines Spring Tasting. Appearance - golden with a light haze. Steady carbonation giving at least a temporary white head. Nose - bruised brown apple, tangy pickle and sweet spice. I'm told it's Bourbon and Burgundy barrel aged. Taste - more sweet spice, piccalilli and baked apple. Palate - medium bodied, soft but tangy middle. Carbonation is fairly light. Overall - really very interesting cider indeed!

Sample, thanks to Danlo. Misty dull orange complexion. Love the bourbon and French Oak subtleties at play here, quite dry, light sparkle, white wine nods, light apple skin notes. Interesting.

750ml wired cork bottle from Cider is Wine. Opened with a loud pop. Sparkling, orange gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of apple, bready, fruity, some caramel notes. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, bready, with champagne-like notes, yeasty, caramel hints and with bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying tangy finish. Nicely drinkable.
