Bottle picked up from Dorst Craft Beer shop, Den Haag, consumed at home whilst cooking Aubergine Pasta Pie, Tuesday 4th October 2016 Hazy amber colour with a sticky white head. Lots of coffee in the mouth, however not so much coffee on the nose, but a more hoppy edge, earthy rustic workmanlike hops as opposed to big, brash. tropical, piney or citrussy hops. Nice thick mouthfeel, a little spice, dry finish. Lovely. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle picked up from Arnoldus Bieren, Gouda and consumed outside Frank at De Drie Morgen campsite, Nr Zoetermeer, Netherlands Saturday 1st October 2016 Pours murky amber, to be fair this was looking very clear until my last few seconds of carelessness let out some (a lot) of yeasty sediment. A bit chewy with lots of caramel and biscuit (speculoos) I’m getting a spicy biscuity edge. Good beer, thoroughly enjoyed this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7
