Description
Raven Bone Hill is een Maassluis brouwinitiatief met een eigen visie op bieren.
Er zijn duizenden soorten bier op de wereld, en dat is niet genoeg. Er is behoefte aan lekkerder en moderner speciaalbier; Eigenwijs bier met ballen dat Rockt en Rollt en waar je eerder inspiratie dan een kater van krijgt. Bier dat je zonder schaamte op tafel kan zetten bij een chique diner. Een mooie fles die je trots als cadeau geeft of die je kerstpakket eindelijk eens de moeite waard maakt.

Tap at NBFD. Hazy dark golden with nice off white head. Grapes, fudge, soft marzipan, bitter herbs and grass, soft peach. Medium sweet and quite bitter. Over medium bodied.

Tap at NBFD. Murky orange brown with off white head. Orange, green peppers, coffee, caramel, light dried fruits. Quite sweet with under medium bitterness. Medium bodied with slick feel. Meh.

Bottleshare at Matteo’s. Hazy deep amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, a little roast. Tangy floral hop. A touch of soap. Semi dry and mildly bitter finish. Passable.

On tap at Rootz beer festival shared with kermis. Medium creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Very Peaty. Enjoyable.

Draft at the Rootz Winterbeer Festival ’16. Black with a thick brown head. Aroma of scotch barrel, overripe dark fruit, malt and dark chocolate. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at Rootz Winterbeer Festival ’16. Very hazy amber with a cream head. Aroma of lemon, light caramel, light fruits and light yeast. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft malts, light creamy sweetness. Ripe orange hops, mild orange peel and a touch of ripe mango. Light hop spice in to tangy bitterness. Smooth semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle at home. Dark brown pour wit ha very tall tan head with good retention. Notes of roasted malts, cold brewed coffee, a bit of hot peppers, pine resin and bitter hops. Medium body, medium to high carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish.

Bottle at Gekke Geit, The Hague. Very hazy brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of herbs, coffee notes, light roast, caramel, light chocolate notes, floral notes and light overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
