Description
Brouwerij Frontaal is ontstaan in 2015 na een jarenlange zoektocht naar de verschillende smaken & aroma's in al bestaande bieren. We hebben ons vervolgens het vak van brouwen zelf aangeleerd, veel ervaringen opgedaan bij bestaande brouwerijen en zich verdiept in de vele literatuur.

Wij zijn een brouwerij die staat voor innovatie, balans, creativiteit maar ook zeker voor transparantie (op de helderheid van sommige bieren na). Dit komt allemaal terug in de smaak van het bier, de etiketten maar ook zeker door de manier van handelen door de brouwerij.

We brouwen ons bier volgens de slogan "Beer for Thought". Hiermee doelen we op het creëren van smaken, kleuren en geuren in het bier, wat de drinker aanzet tot denken waar dit door ontstaan is. Naast dat er op zoek gegaan wordt naar de uitwerking van de ingrediënten zou men ook kunnen denken bij welk gerecht het bier lekker bij is of bij welk moment het goed past.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow. Small white head. Aroma is fruity. Mild yeasty. Bitter, crisp hoppy. Bittrr and slight herbal. Fruity finish.

Bottle shared @ hotelroom tasting shared with Fonefan, SinH4 and Zlotta after Borefts Beer Festival Day 1. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, nice soft and incredibly balanced soft sourness mixed with the barrel influences make this a great beer. Well done Roel!

Bottle shared at the borefts line. A hazy golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, Lime, citrus. Taste of mild citrusy hops, lime, wheat, green tea.

33 cl bottle (brewed @ InBier, bottled 07/07/17). ALmost clear golden color. White head with good retention. Aroma's of citrus, stonefruit, light resin, a bit dank. Retronasal it's citrus, resin, hopbitter. Flavor is light moderate bitter with a hint of frainish sweetness. Light medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish. Quite nice.
